The Australian Government’s Department of Defence (Defence) values the development of strong and constructive contacts with regional defence and security organisations.
Palladium has been appointed to provide the following services:

Assist with the screening and processing of university applications.

Provide academic counselling.

Arrange placement of candidates into relevant postgraduate programs.

Assist with the screening and processing of university applications.

Provide a dedicated Program Administrator and Assistant Program Administrator for ongoing support

Arrange return travel at the end of the scholarship.
Up to 60 new scholarships may be offered each year
The DCSP is offered to countries in Asia and the Pacific, including Cambodia, Fiji, Federated States of Micronesia, Indonesia, Kiribati, Laos, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor Leste, Tonga, Vanuatu and Vietnam.
Scholarship recipients are funded
to undertake a postgraduate coursework program at an Australian university for up to two academic years. However, please refer to the Academic Program Duration page for more information.

Including a contribution to living costs
The DCSP is funded by the Department of Defence through the International Education and Training (Directorate of International Training and Visits, International Policy Division).
The program offers financial support to assist students to successfully complete their academic studies. The scholarship also provides academic familiarisation training for DCSP participants through the Defence International Training Centre (DITC) at RAAF Williams located in Melbourne.
